So I guess I'm back to looking for a part-time job. My money is looking too funny these days. Hopefully after Christmas it will look better but either I need a better way of budgeting my finds or I just need another job. Seriously, it's like I don't know where my money goes after I pay all my bills. Sometimes it does burn a hole in my pocket.
My Mom told me that I should've never quit David's. Well, for one I like the employees, but I hated the company. Do you know how many wedding dresses I ruined because they make the employees clean them and steam them? 5. One was the 2 days before. All because I wasn't properly trained on how to care for them. They just threw me in the alterations room and told me I had to do it. It's so funny because every time I messed up a dress, the alterations lady just looked at me and only made comments when I messed up. Thanks...it's really helping now. So yeah, I'm glad I quit. My paychecks were also a major factor. Why was my last check only $20.25??? Um...yeah you can keep that. I can't even fill up my gas tank with that. They cut my hours to 4 hours a week. And it was always the day when I wasn't on that side of town. When Jay and I moved, we moved 30 minutes away from the store. So it's not worth it to make that drive just for that little money. It's pointless. OH yeah! Then I got written up because I wasn't selling at least $3,000 worth of dresses every time I came in. Really? Do you know that we are in a recession and this is the off season for weddings? Did you know that David's? And why did I get all the new brides getting married in 2015 just getting idea on wedding dresses. That's a waste of time when you're in the business of selling wedding dresses. And most of the dresses in the store were all messed up and dirty. I felt like a used car salesman :(
I want to find a part-time job in the education field. I tutored last year and really enjoyed it. Plus it's only 3 days a week and it's good money.
*Sigh* I'll figure something out.
